What 900 Founders Told Us

We asked every attendee the same four questions. The answers were more consistent than we expected.

Words by Isabelle Cruz

We asked every attendee the same four questions at registration, and again on the final afternoon. Nine hundred and eleven people answered both times, which gave us something more useful than a satisfaction score: a record of what changed.

The consistent answers

Asked what they most needed help with, founders overwhelmingly named distribution rather than product or capital. That held across stage, sector, and geography, and it held just as firmly on the last day as it did on the first.

The second consistency was less expected. When asked what they would remove from their own week, the most common answer was internal meetings they themselves had scheduled — a problem that no external constraint is going to solve for them.

What shifted

The clearest movement was in how people described their timelines. By the final survey, a third of respondents had revised their expected milestones outward. Anecdotally, this was the effect of talking to people slightly further along the same path.
